Welcome to The Community Foundation of Frederick County’s Scholarship Application. These scholarships are made possible through the generosity of our donors.
- Scholarships for vocal or musical instruction and athletic participation were available from September 1 to September 30.
- Trade and Technical Education Scholarships are available starting November 1 and are reviewed and awarded on a rolling basis.
- Carroll County residents can apply for the Harold Glen and Audrey G. Benson Trumpower Foundation Scholarship starting in early Spring 2027. Exact date TBD.
- Our Post-secondary Application, which is our largest scholarship program and supports scholars at all levels of post-secondary education, is open from March 1 to March 31.
If you are selected for an award, you will receive an email notification from notify@ngwebsolutions.com. Please check your spam and junk folders, or whitelist ngwebsolutions.com.
Award notifications will be sent as follows:
- Vocal or Instrumental Music Scholarship and Athletic Scholarship: November
- Career Education Scholarships: Within 45 days of the application being submitted
- Post-secondary Scholarship program and the Harold Glen and Audrey G. Benson Trumpower Foundation: Middle to late May
You should continue to monitor this scholarship portal, as awardees are sometimes unable to accept their awards, in which case the funds will be re-awarded to an alternate.
